Whistler Firewood was formed when three friends tried to start a fire with poor quality wood that was marketed as "Ready to burn".
We identified there was a lack of a consistent seasoned firewood supply in the Sea to Sky Region and a company was formed to bring premium seasoned firewood to the people.
We do not compromise on quality.

We do not cut live trees for firewood.
It simply doesn't make sense. Our wood is sourced from North of Pemberton where the climate is drier and there is an abundance of dead, dry wood littering the forest and presenting an enormous fire hazard.

It simply doesn't make sense. Our wood is sourced from North of Pemberton where the climate is drier and there is an abundance of dead, dry wood littering the forest and presenting an enormous fire hazard.
In recent years, wildfires have become increasingly common in this area and that trend is expected to continue for many years.
What Whistler Firewood does is remove that hazard from the environment and convert it into a fuel that can be burned in a safe and controlled manner, warming the homes of our clients, and offsetting their use of other energy sources.
